League of Legends European Championship - 2019 Summer Final
Throughout my two month freelance tenure at Riot Games' European division in Berlin, I was responsible for developing and designing both digital assets and large scale print installations.
While Athens is steeped in tradition, we did not want to focus on the past, but rather the present and future. To accomplish this we teamed up with Design Studio to develop a multi-stage campaign that looked to blend both the Athens of today with a vision of the future.
For the initial stage, we looked to capture the rebellious nature of Athens by drawing on the street art and graffiti that lines various parts of the city. As the event drew near, the street style was blended with the technical style until it was completely enveloped.
